The WellHorizon is an autonomous digital level meter that allows for remote and continuous monitoring of fluid levels in oil wells. It has a low-frequency wave emitter that travels through the tubing, and a microphone that detects the produced echo. It does not require operator intervention. Through data processing and visualization software, it enables continuous level monitoring and the regulation of pumping speed based on pump submersion. Additionally, it can automatically control well shut-off and activation, configurable by the user.
